Full English Breakfast Recipe

Lots of American families fail to provide their children with a proper breakfast in the morning. As it’s the most important meal of the day, I wanted to publish a full English recipe. If you ever visit the UK, you’re sure to find lots of cafes and restaurants offering this meal. While you won’t want to prepare it for your kids every single day, once each week is fine. With a bit of luck, the meal will give them lots of energy and help them to have a better day at school. Best of all? None of these ingredients are expensive, and you can always customize this recipe.




Ingredients:


  • Smoked bacon
  • Mushrooms
  • A packet of eggs
  • Black pudding
  • Tomatoes
  • A loaf of bread
  • Butter
  • Hash browns
  • Cooking oil


Method:




Before you do anything else, you will need to warm your hob to medium heat. You can then get a flying pan and pour a small amount of oil. You then need to take your pork sausages and drop them into the pan. Leave them to cook for around ten minutes before you add the bacon. With a bit of luck, both of those items will finish cooking at around the same time. You just have to leave them for a further ten minutes when you perform the other steps listed below.


Take your hash browns and place them in the oven on a medium heat. Don’t forget to click some other recipe here if you have any left over. Crack your eggs into another frying pan and put them on the hob too. While everything is cooking, you can begin to prepare your tomatoes. For that, you’re going to need a sharp knife with a decent handle. If you need to buy one, there is some excellent advice here at Cut It Fine and on other specialist sites online. Slice your tomatoes into thin layers, ideally no more than a couple of centimeters thick. You can then throw them into the pan with your mushrooms, bacon, and sausage.




Lastly, it’s time to slice your black pudding using the same knife. Again, you want to ensure the pieces are no more than a couple of centimeters thick for the best results. Everything else should have finished cooking by now. So, take your sausages, bacon, and tomatoes out of the pan and throw them on your plates. You can then add your hash browns and black pudding. Finally, put some bread in the toaster and cover it in butter.


If you follow that method to the letter, you should have a delicious full English breakfast for your family. People who worry about fat content just need to use some common sense while shopping. It’s possible to find low-fat sausages in the dieting aisle at most stores these days. You also might consider cooking the meat in your oven rather than frying it. That can help to reduce the amount of fat your kids consume.
