Uncle Duck Hong Kong Steamboat

Thursday, June 21, 2012

Lately, I visited Times Square (TS) almost every night. Definitely not for shopping BUT swimming. It’s weird but it’s true, I swim every night in TS. For so many nights we usually dine somewhere else rather than in TS.

However, we decided to dine in TS last night. We walk pass Uncle Duck Hong Kong Steamboat, looking at the menu I remember they serve the best breezy Ice Lemon Tea I’ve tasted so far. Back then I used to go to Uncle Duck in Low Yat for the Ice Lemon Tea. Seriously we went in just for the Ice Lemon tea NOT for the steamboat..

Sufficient lemon juices with lots of lemon slices soaked in fully intense red tea made such a good Ice Lemon Tea, RM 4.50. For the breezy feeling; crushed ice is added to the tea.

If there is fried udon in the menu, it’ll never missed out from my order. To my surprise they fried a really delicious plate of Fried Seafood Udon, Rm 11.50. The seafood is extra fresh and they throw quite a number of prawns, squids and fish cakes to fried along with the udon. The udon was cooked to perfect softness . The right amount of peppery gravy along with the udon completes the dish.

A simple yet satisfying meal! Will come back for more…
